Stevie Shred is the Lead Guitarist for Red Reign, an all original melodic hard rock band signed to DEKO

Stevie Shred is a guitarist, singer, recording artist, and creator currently rebuilding his music career from the ground up.

After years spent primarily as a lead guitarist, including touring and recording with Red Reign, he’s stepping out from behind the guitar and into a new role: frontman, bandleader, and solo artist.

The road here wasn’t exactly a straight line.

Steve started playing guitar as a teenager in Michigan. An early band went on to be named Best Band in Northwest Ohio and record an album, but life eventually pulled him away from music. Years later, he started over, answering a Craigslist ad that led to Rosie Soul and the Rock N Roll Cowboys, one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s busiest cover bands. At their final show, Rosie performed for a crowd of roughly 4,000.

The next chapter was Red Reign. As lead guitarist, Steve toured, shared stages with national acts, and became a recording artist with Deko Entertainment, including the album Don’t Look Back and its title track featuring George Lynch.

Now he’s starting over again. On purpose.

A move to a new city meant leaving behind the familiar scene, contacts, and musical network he’d spent years building. Instead of simply recreating what he’d already done, Steve decided to build something new: becoming the singer, building a new live show, creating original music, and documenting the entire process as it happens.

No hindsight. No polished success story written after the fact.

This is the rebuild.
